Located 10 minutes from Hereford town centre and 5 minutes from Hereford train station, the scheme takes a brownfield site and looks to transform it in to 3 blocks of student accommodation varying in height.
The scheme uses a traditional material palette with glazed coloured bricks to define and provide ownership to each block. Inspiration for the design came from the area’s rich history of Victorian warehouses, which our modern reinterpretation gently gestures towards, with its strong form and regular rhythm of its fenestration.
The deliberately designed ever changing facades, that react as the sun progresses through the sky casting shadows that change throughout the day, mimic the constant activity in and out of the buildings.
