Mark Bridge


Mark has experience in the industry across a wide range of sectors including Residential, Masterplanning, Private Rented Sector accommodation Student Living and Mixed Use Development.

Over the course of his career he has worked with most of the National House Builders and achieved planning consents for a countless number of schemes. 

Alongside the residential sector Mark has experience in delivering Mixed Use Developments, Drive-thru Restaurants, Food Retail, Children’s Nurseries and Service Stations.

Mark strives to ensure the ethos of the business is that of Quality, Integrity and Value. In his spare time he enjoys travelling, walking his Golden retrievers and the odd Gin and Tonic!

Manni Chattha


Manni joined Ophir Architecture in May 2019, having originally started his career in the North of England, before relocating to Birmingham.

Manni has a wide range of experience throughout all RIBA stages, both leading and as part of a team. Manni has worked on project values ranging from £100,000 to £1Billion and has worked on high profile projects throughout the UK and internationally. Some of the more prestigious projects that

Manni has worked on include a 50no storey residential tower in a prominent location in London, which consisted of 247no apartments along with a podium accommodating shops, restaurants, swimming pool, spa, gym, cinema and a 161no bedroom hotel. Two high rise towers in London both 42no storeys with retail, restaurants, creative workspaces and a 4* hotel.

Other sectors include student accommodation, healthcare, industrial, Metrolink, business parks, laboratories, bars/restaurants, Lidl supermarkets, retail parks, car parks, offices, Cineworld cinemas and education.

When not working Manni enjoys going to the gym and you will often see him out at industry social events.

Sean O'Sullivan

Senior Architectural Designer

Sean joined Ophir Architecture back in March of 2019 as a Senior Architectural Designer. Prior to this, Sean worked at a large multi disciplinary practice in Coventry, his role involved all aspects of the planning/design within the residential sector. 

Sean’s responsibilities at Ophir Architecture comprise of producing residential site layouts, delivering full Planning Applications from planning drawings, Design & Access Statements, Building for life assessments, producing design strategy documents for projects prior to planning meetings. He undertakes public consultation relating to schemes with the general public and Local Authority, coordination with other consultants and clients, whilst delivering schemes with different creative styles from traditional to contemporary architecture.

Sean is an enthusiastic designer with a wide range of experience & training within the residential sector, from work-based projects to academic. He has gained qualifications ranging from BSc in Architecture Technology, BSc Hon Part 1 Architecture RIBA, Part 2 Master’s in Architecture RIBA, and is currently doing his Part 3 at Birmingham City University.

In his spare time, Sean enjoys swimming, travelling, walking and playing his native game hurling!!

Kathleen Karveli

Architectural Assistant

Kathleen is a Part 1 Architectural Assistant at Ophir Architecture. She graduated in 2017 from Coventry University and has been in the industry since. She is hoping to go on to study her masters and eventually become an Architect. Before joining Ophir, Kathleen had gained 2 years of experience in a multidisciplinary company, where she was heavily involved in projects within the residential sector.

Kathleen has always had a passion for residential Architecture and engineering, at University she therefore chose to focus on the collaboration between architects and engineers within the industry. The aim was to enhance her understanding of architecture and structural engineering and begin applying engineering-based design solutions in her own projects. This has driven her enthusiasm for creating beautiful structures with an attention to detail.

Since joining Ophir Kathleen has been involved in some large projects and assisted in the production of working drawings.

In her spare time she enjoys drawing and socialising with friends. She believes travelling is a way of escape and a chance to broaden her horizons in the company of family and friends.

Nicole Zaballero

Architectural Technician

Nicole graduated from Birmingham City University in 2019 gaining a BSc in Architectural Technology and joined Ophir Architecture in September 2020. Prior to joining, Nicole spent a year working at a large multi-disciplinary practice gaining experience in small-to-medium scale residential projects.

Since joining Ophir Nicole has worked on larger scale residential projects with a more client contact approach and diving more into the planning process of such projects, further developing her skills and knowledge creating a well-rounded individual.

Nicole hopes to work on a wide range of projects within other sectors of the industry, and recently making a start by assisting on the production of planning drawings for Lidl.

Outside of work Nicole enjoys baking, travelling to new places and spending time with friends.

Marlo Griffin

Architectural Technician

Marlo graduated from the University of Derby and has begun working for Ophir Architecture as an Architectural technician.  Prior to this, Marlo worked at an Interior Architecture firm, in which he assisted in a variety of hospitality projects completing planning applications and working drawings packages. Due to this, Marlo has become accustomed to plan layouts and designs whilst working as part of a multidisciplinary team and has been eager to expand his understanding through Ophir. 

Marlo strives on becoming a multifaceted technician who can work on a range of projects and provide insight on conceptual design through to technical design. By joining Ophir, Marlo has been able to expand his capabilities within a variety of sectors.

Marlo is an enthusiastic technician who always pushes himself, this is derived from his love of architecture and dedication to self-improvement. Outside of his professional life, Marlo enjoys PC building, swimming and travelling.

Chris Lander

Principal Designer/ External Consultant

Chris Lander has joined the company as an affiliated Principal Designer/CDM Advisor. 

His vast experience and knowledge of the construction industry will serve to strengthen the company and assure our clients that we have Health & Safety matters at the top of our agenda. Chris said ‘ I am very excited to join Ophir in this position, one of the main reasons I was so interested in the company is due to its varied and interesting workload, I look forward to supporting the team on future projects’.

Maria Fazzolari


Maria is an Architect that has graduated in Italy. After completing her Masters in Architecture, Maria gained 4 years of experience at an engineering company in Calabria, Southern Italy. Whilst there she was involved in various projects within the residential, educational and commercial sectors covering all aspects from planning to construction.

Eager to expand her experience overseas, Maria decided to move to the United Kingdom where she started her new working and personal adventure.

After her registration to ARB Part 3, she worked at a practice where her role was preparing full design packages for planning submission.

Since joining Ophir Architecture in September 2020, Maria has been eager to expand her knowledge of technical design for large scale residential projects.

Her passion for architecture has been strong throughout her life and she truly believes that architecture has shaped her personality and in turn, her life. In her spare time, she enjoys spending time with friends, watching documentaries and exploring new places whether it be buildings, ‘the outdoors’ or different cultures.
